He got his start behind the scenes as an audio engineer for local artists in his hometown, developing a sharp ear and an even sharper sense of rhythm. Though his path took a detour when he served in the United States Navy, his passion for music never left him—it simply waited for the right moment to take center stage.

In 2016, James made a bold decision to walk away from his career as an aircraft mechanic and go all-in on music. He moved to Los Angeles and enrolled at the Los Angeles Recording School, earning two bachelor’s degrees and an associate degree in music production, audio engineering, and entertainment business. It was there that he deepened his understanding of sound, creativity, and what it takes to bring a vision to life.

James eventually found his way to the DJ booth, combining his technical skills with a natural ability to move a crowd. Whether it's a wedding, corporate event, or private party, James brings a polished, professional presence and a sound that’s as refined as it is fun. Since joining the LeForce Entertainment team in 2022, he’s quickly become a trusted go-to for unforgettable celebrations.

Based in Dallas but shaped by his roots on the East Coast and in the Midwest, James pulls inspiration from legends like Dr. Dre, Quincy Jones, Rick Rubin, and DJ Jazzy Jeff. His sets blend precision with creativity—always tailored to the room, always delivered with heart.
